Last February Authors Joe David and Chiara Lima appeared on MMC-TV’s The Next Word, hosted by Christine Warnke and candidly discussed their books: Gourmet Getaways, 50 top spots to cook and learn (by Joe David), and Mamma Agata, simple and genuine recipes (by Chiara Lima).

Mamma Agata (simple and genuine recipes)
This prize-winning cookbook provides step-by-step instructions on how to create some wonderful foods that Mamma Agata had prepared for many of her rich and famous guests and friends. Some of these recipes are taught at Mamma Agata's Cooking School on the Amalfi Coast, where students will learn to cook superb Italian cuisine, using fresh and home-grown ingredients..

In this his fifth book, Joe David has prepared a comprehensive guide to some of America's top cooking schools and their famous and not-so-famous chef-teachers. The book includes recipes, interviews, culinary programs, and activities suited for food lovers, seeking a short getaway not far from home, where they can indulge in their favorite pastime: cooking and eating. To write the book, Joe had spent a year, eating his way around the country, sampling the food prepared at the schools.
