MMC-TV Interview with Joe David and Chiara Lima

Authors Joe David and Chiara Lima appeared in February 2011 on The Next Word with Christine Warnke, and discussed their books, Gourmet Getaways, 50 top spots to cook and learn (by Joe David), and Mamma Agata, simple and genuine recipes (by Chiara Lima).

In Mamma Agata, Chiara features her mother's famous foods, which she has served with love to the rich and famous. In her mother's honor, Chiara and her family have created a cook book, which provides stories about some of these world-famous celebrities with recipes of the foods they and others loved. Mamma Agata has also become a famous cooking school on the Amalfi Coast, which is internationally respected for its superb Italian food prepared with fresh ingredients. In her MMC-TV interview, she talks about her cooking school, her mother, and some of the famous people from Jacqueline Kennedy to Fred Astaire who have enjoyed and adored her mother's foods.

In Gourmet Getaways, (50 top spots to cook and learn), Joe David features some of America's top cooking schools and the famous and not-so-famous chefs.  The book includes recipes, interviews, culinary programs, and extra activities, suited for food lovers who want a short getaway not far from home. This is the author's fifth book. To write it, he had to eat his way around the country, sampling what each school had to offer. www.bfat.com
